On September 15, 2022, a resident of Rivne named Svyatoslav Pototsky shot a local dog that was walking peacefully. The crime was recorded by surveillance cameras. Unfortunately, the dog did not survive the injuries. Investigators of the Rivne RUP opened criminal proceedings, starting a pre-trial investigation under Art. 299 of the Civil Code. URSA's attorney filed a refelony charge. The investigation is currently ongoing.
