The situation in Ukraine
On February 24, Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
And this day changed the lives of not only people, but also animals: thousands of four-legged ended up on the street, abandoned by their owners, many animals died by the hands of the occupiers and airstrikes, many shelters and zoos are under occupation.
From the first day of the war, URSA started doing everything necessary to help animals survive in this difficult time for Ukraine.
Our team provides food and medicine to shelters affected by occupation or in war zone, rescues animals and helps with their evacuation.

Our team purchased and also received from international partners more than 50,000 tons of feed, which was successfully delivered to Donetsk, Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, Odessa, Chernihiv, Kyiv, Sumy, Dnipro, Zaporizhia and Poltava regions.
